Drivers: Announcing a Trip

1. Information Visible to Potential Passengers

When you announce a trip, the following information will be visible to non-subscribed users and Lift Link members (your contact details remain strictly confidential):

  • Meeting point (general directions)
  • Destination city(ies)
  • Drop-off point
  • Date and time of departure
  • Number of available seats
  • Route details (optional)
  • Your price

• Information about your vehicle:

  • Smoking or non-smoking vehicle
  • Acceptance of guide dogs in the vehicle (yes or no)
  • Acceptance of small caged animals (yes or no)
  • Accepted luggage format
  • Can your car accommodate very tall or large individuals?

• Information about your subscription and preferences:

  • Duration of your active subscription
  • Number of trips you have made as a driver
  • Preferences regarding the confidentiality of your email or phone number in the event of contact with your passengers

The following information can be disclosed or kept confidential in the trip announcement, according to your preference:

• Passenger satisfaction ratings and their evaluation of punctuality, vehicle comfort, and safety.
• Your years of driving experience.

2. Information Visible to Passengers Who Have Booked a Seat in Your Vehicle

Once a Lift Link member has booked a seat in your vehicle, he or she will have access to the following information:

• Your name
• The make, model, color, and year of your car
• The car’s license plate number
• Details about the meeting point
• Visible details on the car (optional)
• A photo of the car (optional)
• A photo of you (optional)

The following information can be disclosed or kept confidential to members who have booked a seat in your vehicle, according to your preference:

• Your phone number
• Your email

If your phone number is marked as confidential, please note that it is possible that we may put you in communication with a passenger via a call transfer (in which case your number will not be disclosed).

Passengers: Contact with a Driver

Drivers with whom you have booked a seat will have access to the following information to identify you:

• Your name

The following information can be disclosed or kept confidential to your driver, according to your preference:

• Your phone number
• Your email

If your phone number is marked as confidential, please note that it is possible that we may put you in communication with your driver via a call transfer (in which case your number will not be disclosed).
